At home health checks become mainstream with Withings
The BeamO is an ECG, pulse oximeter, stethoscope, and thermometer
The BeamO “multiscope” integrates ECG, pulse oximeter, stethoscope, and thermometer sensors into a unified device. As asserted by Withings, the BeamO represents the “thermometer of the future,” possessing the capability not only to measure temperature but also to offer insights into heart and lung health.
Electrodes positioned along the periphery of the BeamO facilitate the detection of blood oxygen levels and heart rate, coupled with the capacity to conduct a 1-lead ECG, akin to the functionality observed in the Apple Watch’s ECG feature.
“In a post-pandemic world, more people than ever are actively wanting to check the health levels of themselves and their loved ones daily.”

Connect your family’s data directly with your doctor for a more efficient Telehealth experience
The temperature scanner discerns body temperature from the temporal artery, and through a Piezoelectric disc, it captures acoustic soundwaves from the chest or back. These soundwaves can be relayed to a healthcare professional during a telehealth appointment.
Withings say that the BeamO can conduct a comprehensive body checkup in under a minute, providing timely alerts to users regarding elevated temperature, potential infection, and plausible cardiovascular issues such as atrial fibrillation.
Scheduled for launch in June 2024, the BeamO is priced at $250 USD.
Connects with Apple Health
Whilst the Withings App collates all your data, true biohackers will be pleased to know that the app connects with Apple Health allowing all tracking data to be saved in one place on your iPhone.
Check for heart irregularities
On a daily basis, BeamO has the ability to detect atrial fibrillation (AFib), and provide notifications in case heart rates are too low or too high. It can also detect high body temperature and show potential signs of desaturation of your blood oxygen.
